General Introduction: Tunnel Deathworms live underground in huge caverns that they hollow out from any consistency from solid rock to sand, because they secrete a solution that can act like cement. They range in color from bright blue to a neonish green. They have very large eyes that give off an eerie light. They are also equipped with huge mandibles that are rather blunt, but deadly all the same.

Combat: Tunnel Deathworms fight rather viciously. When cornered, they will spray their enemies with a poisonous acid, which does not kill but can temporarily blind opponents. The Deathworm will not always kill its enemies. When it has its prey backed up against the wall, it gives an ultimatum, usually involving the surrender of several magical items. The only thing that can stop a charging Deathworm is a kender who shouts out something like, "GEE, I SURE AM BORED! I WONDER WHAT I CAN DO AROUND HERE!" The deathworm will turn tail and run, leaving you to pick up all its treasure. Be careful, however, as some of the items are cursed.

Habitat/Society: Tunnel Deathworms can live anywhere as long as it's underground. The only other thing they are scared of is water, as it has a potassium-effect on their skin(i.e. it burns them). They live away from society, but every once in a while they pop out into a village and terrorize them until they get waterbuckets and retaliate. Deathworm couples have a baby aproximately every 200 years.

Ecology: The Deathworm has a small sac in its body that contains the acid that it spits out. if properly used, it can be instilled into a weapon that is hollow and fill the heart of it with acid. The acid will travel through the weapon like veins and will burn through many things. Pouring water on the weapon or a wound caused by one will negate it. The magic of the acid in the weapon will resume in an hour, but the wound is healed of acid damage completely.
