General Introduction: they look like normal kender except they have batlike wings and they prefer having their hair short. All have jet black hair and ice blue eyes. No female Batder has been seen.

Combat: they fight with shortswords made out of obsidian (which are called khemkhum). Each Batder has 2 khemkhums as a birthright and can use them at the same time without penalties. Batder prefer attacking by swooping over the opponents head and hit with the khemkhums... they don't use any other weapons and if a Batder looses his khemkhum he can sacrifice anything to find it. A Batder can scream once an hour which temporaryly couses panic and stuns the opponent but it's painful for the Batder so they usually use it to escape from combat area.

Habitat/Society: they live in packs and they always travel... they sleep at any treetop and eat whatever they find edible. they don't breed they have the ability to convert kender into Batder... they usually observe kender and take him away if they find him useful for their pack. other than that they act like normal kender and they never attack a kender even if they're attacked by one... (on this occasion they fly to a secure height and wat until the opponent calms down). Most kender find these magical creatures very interesting and start asking questions (which the Batder don't have the answers for) whenever one lands near a kender.

Ecology: it's told that the Batder are a great error made by a red-robed mage who was trying to grant his kender friend's wish (which must be flying)unfortunately the mage died and the kender (who was a genius) memorized the process to convert a kender into a Batder and flew away...
