Cursed Ring of Eternal Boredom

Description: A small, gold ring that's fairly
average-looking, except for one
thing. It has one tiny, itsy-bitsy
sapphire set in the top that is very
difficult to see. The easiest way to
see it is to put it on one's finger
and look very closely...
History: There was a dragon who kept a
very large hoard in a cave deep
under a tall mountain range. This
dragon's pride and joy was her
collection of magic rings. Now, the
bane of this poor old gal's life was
kender. Don't ask me why - it
might have had something to do
with the fact that she always had
to chase them out of her horde.
Well, one day she chased a kender
out (his name was... oh, what was
it... something about traps...
trap... trap singer? no, that wasn't
it... trap-something...) and she
returned to count her magic rings
and found that one was missing!
She was so upset over this, she
decided to create a magical object
that would be the bane of the
existance of all kender. So, she sat
down and worked for months on
the Cursed Ring of Eternal
Boredom.
How it Works: For some reason, Kender can't
resist putting this ring on to look at
it. It's so intriguing to them! Well,
once they put it on, they can't pull
it off. Within a few minutes of
putting the ring on, they start
feeling... bored. Terribly, insanely
bored, so bored that they don't
know what to do with themselves.
It isn't long until the Kender is
completely and totally insane (along
with most innocent bystanders
anywhere near the poor kender).
The ring will easily come off into
some other Kender's pouch by this
time, and so it's passed on and on.
That old dragon had no idea what
awful deed she did for Krynn... oh
no. *shakes head* insane Kender...
