Spoon of Psychic Bending

Description: It looks like a nice silver soup spoon with a spot of tarnish on the back and some nice scrollwork on the handle. Sometimes it is found bent and other times straight.

History: I know a VERY good cutler who can get you a VERY good deal on some VERY nice silverware. I think I got this there, but can't quite remember. I mean, I must have bought it there, otherwise, why would I have it? Hmmmm. As I recall it was part of a portable dining set that I bought to augment my other one.

How it Works: One day I felt the spoon tingle. So naturally, I thought it was magic. So I went up to my friend Kanor of Elledrin, the Emotionally Unstable Human Mage of the Blue Robes (the sect for crazy mages). His magic saved my life a hundred billion times. He waved his hands a bit, muttered something and pointed at the spoon. If that's magic, I don't see how hard it is to do that, I mean- never mind. He handed it back smiling and said, "IT greatly increases the psychic powers of the wielder- you." "Wowee!" I said. So the next day I took out the spoon and concentrated real hard for what seemed like hours. suddenly, my eyes snapped open and I saw- The Spoon of Psychic Bending in all its glory! It was bent almost in half! I straightened it out and tried again. It worked! I tried to use its mystic powers in battle against a hideous troll. I concentrated really hard on making the troll stop its mad rampage and buy me dinner, but all that happened was the spoon bent. I beat it off with my hoopak, but not before it wrenched the spoon from my grasp and hurled it into the river. If you see it, be sure to drop by.
